I tried these for the first time today, after wearing Acuvue2s. These are very flimsy, like the old Acuvue UV, but they have a number 123 that lets you get them the right way around. You can't tell from the lens curve.
Distance vision is pretty good, not quite as sharp, but closeup vision is excellent, I can see well down to about 1 foot, computering and reading the newspaper is fine.
I tried monovision with a -0.5 lens to replace my right eye -1.75 but although it did work for close vision I didn't like the feeling and driving and TV was definitely unpleasant.
You will have a lot of handling trouble if these are your first lenses, but if you have been wearing lenses for a while it should be fine.
