Old and dirty lens cases can be cause of serious contact lens related eye infections. It is advised that you replace your lens case each 3 months as bacteria can grow in the microscopic cracks which can form in the plastic as it gets old. You should also rinse your case in water after you insert your lenses, and let it air dry each day. Lens solutions will disinfect your lenses once only and should be replaced each day.
